Niceland: (18) Bakkagerði

After a long and foggy road from Egilsstaðir you reach Borgarfjörður Eystri and the nice small village of about 100 inhabitants of Bakkagerði. The location between mountains and the fjord is amazing. As amazing as the private red house of Lindarbakki, fully covered with sod, that seems to come out of a Hobbit´s tale. It dates from 1899 but it was completely restored before the end of the 20th century.
