U Bein Bridge

Built in 1849 with more than one thousand teak stilts over the Taungthaman lake, the U Bein is the largest teak bridge in the world (1,2 Km).
Monks use to walk along it in the evening enjoying the magical light of sunset.

    Precioses fotos del pont d’U Bein.
    Jo vaig estar aquí també, però al 1999!!! Però el nivell del riu estava força més baix i el pont semblava més alt aleshores.
    Continua així!!! Una abraçada.

    • Sí !! Jo a la majoria de fotos que he vist a llibres i internet el nivell del aigua sempre estava molt més baix i es veia molt guapo el pont. Però justament aquell any per les pluges el riu Ayeyarwady va créixer molt i va inundar mig país !!
