A boat trip around the Inle Lake (2): The people of the lake

Intha, Shan, Kayah and other ethnic groups. Fishermen, giraffe women, oldmen who smoke, monks, children with “thanakha¨ (sunscreen based on ground tree bark), are some of the inhabitants of the 17 villages of the area. The people of the lake.

Intha, Shan, Kayah i altres grups ètnics. Pescadors, dones girafa, vells que fumen, monjos, nens amb “thanakha” (protecció solar a base d’escorça mòlta d’arbre), són alguns dels habitants dels 17 poblets de la zona. Són la gent del llac.
