Indian portraits (4): The mad of Kalighat

Portrait of a crazy sadhu at Kalighat, a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. It is said that in the past the worshipers of Kali offered human sacrifices in this temple, now they still do it but with goats. Although that’ll show you in another post!

Kolkata, West Bengal (India). September 2004.
